That made me cry. Poor little koala. He or she obviously knew that those guys were going to help. Glad to hear that the koala is being taken care of.

When she put her paw in his hand as if to say "Thank you Mr. Firefighter sir. I can has more drink?" Awwwwwwww! Her paws were burned at the time too. *sniff*

There's an interactive gallery at the bottom of the page, and whole families were wiped out. One mother lost both her children, and husbands and wives died together trying to escape. This is just so unbelievably horrible. I can't imagine the terror and pain they experienced. I'm also sad for the koalas and other animals. They don't even know why this is happening.
