I don't know what it is about cats and paper, but if there's any form of it on a flat surface, our cats always loved to lie on it, wrapping paper included. :) Sillies. It was more unhelpful when it happened to be a paper for school or some important thing that got set on the couch or something and thus got wrinkled to all hell.
