cheesymice: (Little dog aaahhh Cheesygirl)
It's been a crazy crazy morning.

I went to the opthalmologist, and my pressure is low, around 15-16, which is verrrrry good. He also said I had thick corneas and skinny nerves. Not a bad thing, just facts. Not surprising that I have weird eyeballs.

Anyhoo, I don't have to go back for an exam for contacts and glasses because he went ahead and did it while I was there. Contacts have been ordered, and they even cost a teensy bit less than at the other place I used to go. Here's hoping they work out alright when I get them, which should be next week.

Ran to a couple stores on my way home, and that took a bit longer than I thought it would, and then had to run around getting ready for work, feeding the cat, taking out the garbage, blah blah blah. But here I am.

Oh, Tilly had a teensy adventure today. After I lugged in a bunch of groceries from the car my front door apparently didn't shut all the way and the wind blew it open while I was in the kitchen. I looked out the door in time to see Tilly trotting around the corner onto the patio! I quietly walked up behind her while she was sniffing a rock and scooped up her sorry ass and brought her back inside. She grumbled at me, but then went back to eating her mushy food in the kitchen. Silly kitty.

And yes, my Angel S5 DVDs are finally in my possession, although I didn't have time to even take the wrap off before I had to head out the door. Maybe when I get home tonight I can at least watch some of the extras. But they're MINE!!!

I was thinking about the cartoon 2 Stupid Dogs the other day and how it really needs to be on DVD (but it isn't) because it was such a great show. I found screencaps! I made some quickie icons, which I'm sharing:

I mean come on, you've got to love a cartoon that gives you moments like this:

For the librarians and academians on my FL this article from the Chronicle of Higher Education (y'all might already be aware of this scam, but I didn't realize that apparently many of them are mob-related!):

College Libraries Are New Targets of Telemarketing Scams )

God I really hate this kind of crap.
