Gratuitous Banner Post!

Wooo! I finally got the banner thingy to work and my new LJ layout up and running! Thank you sdwolfpup and literati for pointing me to the tutorials. *smooches*

Still not totally happy with it, I still want to tweak the colors a bit, but lookit the pretty angstridden Wesley faces! :-)

Gah! Icons will be posted in a little bit. I've been struggling with my layout for a couple hours and before that Tilly was driving me nuts. I should know better than to cook hamburger meat with her around. She drove me nuts until I finally put the leftovers in the fridge. Yeeesh!

ETA The text in my banner is from a Catherine Wheel song, "Judy Staring at the Sun": She passed by and said good-bye to him / And in a rare and lucid state / She said my days are unoriginal / I wanna fade fade fade. Actually isn't really significant, I just like the sound of it! :P

I think one of the reasons it took so long to get my new layout to work was because it kept melting the LJ servers. ;-)

I love the new banner. I'm so jealous since I'm such a dork about these things on LJ. Takes me forever to learn how to do something. I also like the read comments little blurb because I love kitties. Very nice.

I'm clueless when it comes to coding so it took lots and lots of tweaking to get it to work. Thankfully I found someone who had already written the code and all I had to do was add in my specific information. Yay for shortcuts! *g*
